Recent UFO Sightings in Colorado
On June 5, workers at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, reported a UFO sighting. An employee described the object as a “large disc shaped craft” with “three levels of windows” that hovered silently before vanishing. “I was working at Red Rocks Amphitheater last night when one of our coworkers suddenly said to us, ‘Hey, what is that over there? It looks like a spaceship,'” the witness stated. The group observed the craft for about 30 seconds. “We all turned to look in the direction he was pointing and sure enough, there was a UFO hovering about a half a mile to a mile north of Red Rocks,” they added.
This incident at Red Rocks is part of a broader trend in the state. Over 40 UFO sightings were reported in Colorado in 2023 alone, according to the National UFO Reporting Center. Notably, another incident involved an eyewitness in Longmont observing four red-light UFO orbs in the vicinity of an aircraft. “Not the first time colored large flying objects have been seen in this area. Saw the same lights looking at them from the other side on top of the mountains on a different date,” reported the witness.
The increase in sightings has spurred interest at both public and governmental levels. In response, the U.S. government established the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office in 2022 to investigate these unidentified aerial phenomena. This move signifies a shift toward taking these sightings more seriously and attempting to understand their nature and origin.
