AP Breaks Loeb UAP Science Advisory Council Story
The Associated Press ran the first major wire story on Harvard’s Avi Loeb being appointed to lead the new UAP Science Advisory Council, which reports to the interagency UAP Governance Board established by ODNI. Loeb has assembled 15 scientists and sent a request to the Pentagon for more than 50 videos, images, and documents related to known UAP incidents.
The council operates on unclassified material only. Member Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet acknowledged the work “will be limited” without access to classified data – a tension that mirrors the broader gap between what Congress says exists and what the executive branch will share.

Pennsylvania Holds First State-Level UAP Hearing
The Pennsylvania House Communications and Technology Committee held an informational hearing titled “Is There Life Beyond Earth?” – the first state-level legislative hearing on UAPs. Witnesses included Chris Mellon, Ryan Graves, and Penn State astrophysicist Jason Wright.
Mellon testified about UAP incursions over restricted military airspace and the institutional stigma that has paralyzed the government’s response: “Our government was frankly paralyzed by a social phenomenon called stigma. And that was and is more effective than any technical system I’ve ever seen.”
Committee chair Rep. Joe Ciresi said the hearing wasn’t intended to inform specific legislation but emphasized the hearing was about “public safety and national security” – not “little green men.”

Vanity Fair Covers the Disclosure Forum
Vanity Fair published a feature-length piece on the June 25 Disclosure Forum – held in the Kennedy Caucus Room of the Russell Senate Office Building, a room that has hosted hearings on the Titanic, Watergate, and Iran-Contra. The piece profiled Chris Mellon as the leading voice of the disclosure movement and detailed how Luna received a standing ovation upon arrival. Another marker of mainstream prestige outlets treating UAP disclosure as a serious political story.

World UFO Day Passes – No New PURSUE Files Released
World UFO Day came and went with no new PURSUE tranche. LAmag ran a piece titled “World UFO Day Comes… But New UAP Files Don’t” – noting the last release was June 12, now three weeks ago despite the administration’s promise of releases “every few weeks.”
The PURSUE portal still sits at 294 files across three tranches. The site has received 1.7 billion hits but no new content since Tranche 03. LAmag noted: “As of World UFO Day, there has been no public statement indicating that President Donald Trump has even acknowledged or responded to the specific requests made during the June 9 Capitol Hill press conference.”

Scientific American: “The White House Goes All In on Aliens”
Scientific American published a deep piece on Loeb’s council: “The White House Goes All In on Aliens with New UAP Science Advisory Council.” The piece detailed how the council met behind closed doors, submitted its 50+ item request, and plans to brief the public and create a website to share findings. Loeb said he has not met President Trump and has no plans to. When asked if the council will work with Congress, Sen. Rounds said: “I honestly don’t know.”

Loeb on Burlison Podcast: Former Lockheed Exec Confirmed Crash Retrieval – “It’s Not Wrong”
The most explosive revelation of the week. On Rep. Eric Burlison’s Fresh Freedom podcast, Avi Loeb – now chair of Trump’s UAP Science Advisory Council – said a former senior Lockheed Martin executive visited his home and confirmed the company’s involvement in a UFO crash retrieval program.
“I had a [former] high-level executive from Lockheed Martin visit my home and I asked him, ‘Is there any truth to these claims?’ And he said, ‘It’s not wrong.’”
On the same episode, Hal Puthoff (formerly of AATIP) said Lockheed was prepared to hand materials to AATIP from 2008 to 2012, but the CIA’s Directorate of Science and Technology blocked it.
This was followed by Luis Elizondo’s prior congressional testimony that a craft of unknown origin was being kept at Lockheed laboratories and was expected to be moved to the Navy’s Pax River facility in Maryland – the same facility Burlison has already visited.

Burlison Puts Northrop Grumman on Notice
Burlison posted a viral meme of Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham with the caption “Me with Northrop Grumman” – signaling the defense contractor as his next target on alleged UFO crash retrieval programs. He has already sent formal demands to MIT Lincoln Labs and MITRE Corporation (both cooperating) and visited Pax River. Burlison: “It’s gonna take making it clear to our major companies that it’s okay to come forward.”
Neither Lockheed Martin nor Northrop Grumman responded to requests for comment.

Burlison on Reality Check: SCIF Material, Plasma Orbs, “Greatest Revelation Since Jesus Christ”
Ross Coulthart sat down with Burlison for an in-depth Reality Check interview. Burlison described footage he was shown inside a SCIF: plasma-like orbs moving with intelligence and instantaneous acceleration that the intelligence community “cannot explain.” He said the FBI reported seeing the same objects at residential locations and a western military facility in December 2025.
Burlison argued the Manhattan Project taught the government how to bury programs inside FFRDCs and detailed interrogatories he’s sent to MITRE, MIT Lincoln Labs, the CIA, and the FBI – including a reel-to-reel recording of a U.S. Air Force general questioning MIT scientists about the 1952 Washington flyover. He did not hedge on what disclosure would mean: “This would be the greatest revelation since Jesus Christ.”

Luna Confirms July Hearing Date Coming
Rep. Luna told AskaPol that a public UAP hearing will happen in July: “We’ll have dates announced soon. It’ll be in July. I just don’t know when. We have to find a room.” She also said “other briefings” are happening – members of Congress will be briefed by additional agencies before the public hearing.
